Dinosaurs, Hackathons & Survival Science – PISA Goes All-In for Science Week!

At Peninsula International School Australia (PISA), Science Week isn’t just an event—it’s an exploration of life, survival, and the future! As a proud partner school to Peninsula Grammar in Melbourne, PISA has been actively engaged in the Australian National Science Week, themed “Species Survival – More than just Sustainability.”

Throughout the week, students have embarked on Virtual Excursions with Australian experts, diving into fascinating topics like Biology Trivia, Our Oceans Our Future, and the Science of Survival. The adventure continues with upcoming sessions on What Dinosaurs Can Teach Us About Species Survival and How Our Survival Depends on Theirs.

Meanwhile, Early Years and Junior School students have been hands-on with science experiments and coding challenges during their Inquiry, IT, and STEAM lessons. Over in the Middle and Senior School, students are gearing up for their Endangered Wildlife Showcases and Hackathons, where they’ll present their findings to peers and parents.

From prehistoric creatures to cutting-edge innovation, Science Week at PISA is proving to be an epic journey of discovery!
