On 23rd November 2024 (Saturday), PISA, in collaboration with the Confucius Institute, proudly hosted the Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an internationally recognised Chinese language proficiency examination.
A big congratulations to all 13 dedicated candidates, including both PISA and non-PISA students, who took on this challenge to enhance their Mandarin proficiency! The YCT, comprising four levels, assesses non-native speakers’ abilities in daily, academic, and professional settings, serving as a valuable benchmark for global learners.
Results will be available online in a month, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming even more aspiring linguists next year to continue fostering cross-cultural understanding and language excellence.
